Piracasso was born with the name Petizil Durand on May 22, 1971 in Port-au-Prince. He uses the name Piracasso on his paintings as an honor to Pablo Picasso. He paints market scenes with deep alluring colors. He works on his art during the day, and works as a security guard at night.
