Lizaire, Yvon 1955- Yvon Lizaire was born in 1955 in Port-au-Prince. He started to work with Roland Laborde in 1972. He also worked with St. Louis Blaise and Rigaud Benoit. Under Gaspar Bastien he studied sculpture for six months. He then decided to focus on his painting and in 1974 joined the Centre d'Art. In 1980, Lizaire exhibited at the Musee d'Art Haitien. Since then he has participated in group shows in the United States, Australia, St. Croix and Germany. He is represented in private collections all over the world. |
