Anacréon, Wilson
1957-
Wilson Anacréon was born in Port-au-Prince on January 1, 1957. He began to paint with Claude Dambreville at the Pères Salésians. He is a very talented landscape-painter that had first exhibited his work in a group show at the Musée d'Art Haïtien of Collège Saint-Pierre in 1975. In 1985, he made friends with Jean-Louis Sénatus who then introduced him to the Galerie Monnin in 1989. At present time he is one of the best primitive and modern landscape-painters.
