Cupidon, Jean Dieubeni 1970 Jean Dieubeni Cupidon was born on June 23rd in Jacmel. His father is a farmer, his mother a seamstress. He moved to Port-Au-Prince at the age of nine to live with his grandmother. He still attends school because he fells that "you never finish learning". He began painting in 1988 with his brother Jobert Jean Louis, who taught him how to mix colors. He has had a lot of encouragement from the Galerie Monnin. Cupidon is also known in the music world as a rapper. |
