Edme, Jean Idelus
1966-

Jean Idelus Edme was born in Port-au-Prince on February 12th. He attended elementary school at the National School of Thor, one year at Lycee Firmin, and two years at Charlemagne Peralte. He began painting with Jean Pierre Vilme in 1982. Edme now primarily paints jungles and landscapes. He has been a member of the Centre d'Art since 1985 and became an employee for them in 1994.
