Camille, Fritz 1965 Fritz Camille was born in Port-au-Prince in 1965. Between 1986 on 1988 he takes art classes with the Salesian fathers. It's in 1987 that he began to understudy with the well-known artists Eric Jean-Louis and Smith Blanchard at the Galerie Monnin. Camille won second place in the Caribbean contest in Miami in 1992. This painting was chosen to make a poster for Caribbean travel agencies since then his paintings have become well known not only in Haiti and the United States. It is in Denmark that he has been very successful. |
