Carrier, Clausel 1959- Clausel Carrier was born on June 8th 1959. His father a carpenter, his mother a seamstress he has 12 siblings. He went to school until the age of 13 when he began to apprentice with his father. At the age of 18 he enrolled in the "Acedemie des Beaux Arts" on the advice of his brother-in-law, the painter Seide. For the following seven years he worked with the landscape artist Dufraud. In 1982 Carrier exhibited his work in the Galerie Nader; 1990 in Martinique. He has also taken part in group shows in France and two shows in Chicago. He is now married with all three of his sons following in their fathers' footsteps. |
